The institution has always been proactive to sensitize students and staff about several social and communitarian issues for the welfare of people in neighborhood and beyond. Extension activities are conducted via National Cadet Corps (NCC) (53 Bengal BN NCC Bishnupur Coy-3)

Extension Activities conducted by NCC are Tree Plantation, Swachta Pakhwada, Blood Donation Camp, Thalasemia Carrier Test, AIDS awareness, Observation of World Environment Day, Independence Day, Republic Day,Gandhi Jayanti, Jatiyotabodh o Netaji Subhash, Plastic Se Raksha Swachhta Hi Suraksha, Anti-Tobacco Day and many. The efforts of our cadets and volunteers had led to the mitigation of perils, namely, plastic pollution, tobacco abuse, deforestation, thalassemia, AIDS and unhygiene in the neighbourhood. They had enthusiastically participated in developing awareness about health-hygiene, child marriage, dowry system, child labor among the people in their own surroundings.

The spirit of nationality and integrity is imbibed in the heart of our students through participation in Republic Day parade Camp, National Integration Camps, "Young Warrior'' programme organized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, 'Celebration of Constitution Day' organized by Central Bureau of Communication, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India.
The spirit of oneness, brotherhood and unity is reflected through the financial support (salary donation made to Chief Minister’s Distress Relief Fund Kerala) provided to the flood affected people of Kerala – we stand strongly beside them in such awful days. The societal physical insecurities faced particularly by girls is taken care of by the institution by imparting lessons on self-defense. Sound and positive mental health of all our stakeholders is accorded top priority by provision of fitness training through yoga lessons regularly. Critical thinking and Leadership Skill of our students reaches on to higher standards as they participated and secured second rank in the District Level Youth Parliament Programme of WB Govt. organized by Panchmura Mahavidyalaya in 2019.

Holistic development of our learners is also ensured through views shared by eminent resource persons peeking their nerves in seminars/webinars of Women Cell into serious issues of women education, legal aids, women health and insecurities (particularly in the lockdown period). The Community Development Programs of the institution (including distribution of masks, medicines, sanitizers, food items, building niches for birds, planting fruit saplings in the adopted villages) among villages in the neighborhood had opened new avenues of empowerment for them. IQAC had initiated programs of 'Swapner Udaan'-a children's meet and Tree Plantation in the courtyard of Primary Schools in 2023 mitigating the problem of educational dropouts and addressing the pertinent issue of global warming and deforestation.

Governor's Medal is the most prestigious award that a NCC cadet can be awarded. Our NCC Cdt. Mamata Tudu was awarded for this medal in the year 2022, as a recognition of her performance in different camps.
